# Swamps

### Swamp Farms begin at July 2nd 18:00 UTC

The **Swamps** is one of the core components of Crocodile Finance, designed to incentivize liquidity provision while maintaining the stability and growth of the protocol. \
By utilizing Pharaoh's & Blackhole's DEX models, we ensure consistent emissions and value creation for **$CROC** and **$gCROC** , helping to bootstrap the **Nest** and sustain the ecosystem over the long term.

These farms offer lucrative rewards in **$gCROC** for providing liquidity to these key pairs, strengthening the protocol and supporting its peg stability mechanisms with:

* Faster backing for $CROC through claims;
* Increased TVL and Avalanche ecosystem exposure,
* Non native pools offer similar rewards to Pharaoh & Blackhole, effectively trading gCROC emissions for increased CROC backing.

## **Innovative P**rice Stability Mechanisms **(PSM) Fee Structure:**

The **Peg Stability Module (PSM)** is a key feature of our farming strategy, designed to stabilize the **$CROC** peg to **$AVAX** and ensure a balanced, sustainable ecosystem.

**How the PSM Works:**

* When users claim **$gCROC rewards**, a **35% fee in $AVAX equivalent** is deducted (subject to change based on the **$CROC:$AVAX** peg ratio, **revenue and $gCROC price**).
* This fee is directed back into the protocol, reinforcing peg stability and contributing to long-term ecosystem health.
* The PSM is a **dynamic mechanism** and will evolve as the protocol matures.

#### **Rewards & Opportunities** <a href="#rewards-and-opportunities" id="rewards-and-opportunities"></a>

By participating in the **Swamps**, you help grow the Crocodile Finance ecosystem while earning **$gCROC**. These rewards are designed to encourage active participation, deepen liquidity, and drive the continued growth of Crocodile Finance within the Avalanche network.

Stay tuned for updates as we roll out new features and continuously optimize our farming structure for the best user experience and protocol growth.

#### **Emission Schedule** <a href="#emission-schedule" id="emission-schedule"></a>

* **Emission Rate:** 60,000 **$gCROC** tokens will be emitted over two years.
  * This translates to **82.2 $gCROC tokens daily**, split across the available pools.
